Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Bar Harbor, ME
Arrive in Bar Harbor and enjoy an afternoon on the water.  Stand-up paddling boarding is a fun and easy activity to learn, and gives you the opportunity to see Acadia National Park from a different perspective. 

Bar Harbor Motel - Bar Harbor, Maine

Day 2: Bar Harbor
This morning, explore the Park Loop Road in Acadia National Park, a 27-mile road system which offers outstanding views of the park’s ocean shoreline, coastal forests and mountain silhouettes. Upon arrival back in Bar Harbor, enjoy some free time to explore this beautiful town. (Breakfast)

Bar Harbor Motel - Bar Harbor, Maine

Day 3: Bar Harbor, ME to Deer Island, NB
Depart Bar Harbor this morning and travel to Campobello Island by way of the Roosevelt Campobello International Bridge. Campobello Island, which is located in the mouth of the Bay of Fundy, is famous for being the beloved isle of late U. S. President, Franklin D. Roosevelt. Take some time to explore the island before boarding a ferry to Deer Island. Upon arrival, embark on a Sunset Kayak Tour. Paddling out from the protected harbor, you’re sure to see Bald Eagles, Harbor Seals, and Harbor Porpoise. Being in a kayak for several hours allows you to fully experience the ebb and flow of the tremendous Bay of Fundy tides and enjoy the rugged dramatic coastline, beautiful secluded islands, abundant marine life, lighthouses and quaint fishing villages. Deer Island Inn - Deer Island, NB

Day 4: Deer Island to St. Andrews-by-the-Sea, NB
Depart Deer Island and take a ferry to L'Etete, NB. Once on the mainland, enjoy a leisurely drive to St. Andrews by-the-Sea. Upon arrival, set sail for a whale watching boat tour (weather permitting) to discover a variety of marine wildlife. This whale and wildlife cruise provides the opportunity to experience whales, seals, porpoise, eagles, a variety of seabirds, rugged seascapes, lighthouses, herring weirs and aquaculture. An onboard touch tank with a variety of undersea life, the world's highest tides and first class educational interpretation by experienced guides ensure an experience like no other! (Breakfast)

Algonquin Hotel - St. Andrews by-the-Sea, NB

Day 5: St. Andrews by-the-Sea
Set out on a unique 2-hour Guided Mountain Bike adventure this morning. Explore the natural history of beautiful Passamaquoddy Bay and the surrounding area on a high-end mountain bike and with a custom made biking kilt! This afternoon, you are free to explore the area on your own. Take some time to explore the local hiking trails or take a short drive to New River Beach Provincial Park to explore their trails and beaches. (Breakfast)

Day 6: Departure
Depart St. Andrews and start your journey home with fond memories of your time in Maine and New Brunswick! (Breakfast)
